Custom Joinery

Jobs are often sent to us that no one else will do. This is because we have a group of skilled carpenters, joiners, wood machinists, and hand wood turners who are quite willing to think outside the square to tackle tricky technical problems. People who need props for advertising, movies, casting moulds, or something for restoration come to us. We are listed on the National Trust Register for National Trust Restoration work.

We are happy to advise you on your project before you begin building. We can often save you money when you consult us early, during the design process. We have many years experience that can help solve problems before they begin. We charge an hourly rate for this comprehensive consultation service. Our salespeople are not only salespeople; they are knowledgeable stair builders and can give you valuable technical advice.

Because we cannot estimate how long these unusual jobs will take to complete, they are done on a “do and charge” basis. That means we do not give a quoted price up front, and instead charge you our hourly rate times the number of hours it takes to make them.
Have a look at these photos and call us if you have questions!
